Reservation condition

1-CONTRACT and DEPOSIT

For all online reservations on our website constitute acceptance of our reservation conditions, payment of the deposit is made only by VISA or MASTERCARD bank card, the amount of the deposit is debited within 24 hours receipt of your reservation, the receipt for your card will be given to you upon your arrival. For all other reservations a Gîtes de France contract and the reservation conditions will be sent to you by email to confirm your reservation, we ask you to sign the contract and return it to us within 6 days accompanied by a deposit (bank check for the France) representing 25% of the total amount of the stay with at least the total amount of the 1st night (the deposit is systematically collected), the balance is to be paid on your arrival

For the Christmas period (from the last weekend of November to January 5) we require a deposit of 25% of the amount of the stay with a minimum of the 1st night upon reservation. Unlike other periods of the year, the payment of the balance of the stay must be paid at the latest 1 month before the day of arrival, the balance is due and collected. In the event of non-payment of the balance before the 1 month due date, the reservation becomes void and the deposit is retained by the owner. Beyond the due date for payment of the balance, the customer is liable for payment of the remainder of the stay in accordance with the contract, the reservation becomes firm and final. Payment of the balance of the stay can be made by French check or by bank transfer if the customer wishes by making the request in advance by email, after the due date the balance will be automatically debited from the customer’s bank card.

2-PRICES

The prices mentioned on our site are valid until December 31 of the current year.

3-ACCEPTED MEANS OF PAYMENT

Cash in Euros, French Bank Check, Holiday Checks, bank transfer, Postal Order. Bank cards are accepted only for last minute reservations or exceptionally for countries outside the EU (payments by bank card incur an additional fee of 2% of the deposit amount for cards issued in an EU country and 5% for cards issued outside the EU and Switzerland). Payment by credit card is not accepted on site

For foreign countries, we ask to pay us the deposit

– EU countries (Euro zone): by bank transfer when signing the contract (a RIB will be attached to the contract). Any transfer costs are entirely your responsibility, specify this to your bank when requesting the transfer, otherwise we would be forced to ask you for them upon your arrival.

– Countries outside the EU and Switzerland: Payment possible either:

– By Postal Order (via a Postal Agency or Norwich Union) when signing the contract. Transfer costs (issuance and reception) are entirely your responsibility, to be specified to your bank. In the event that we have bank charges upon receipt of the deposit, we will ask you for reimbursement upon your arrival.

– By bank card (Visa or Eurocard), transaction fees extra (card number + expiry date + cryptogram)

For a last minute reservation (less than 7 days before arrival) we require payment of the deposit systematically by credit card (Visa or Eurocard)

4-CANCELLATION

In the event of cancellation of the reservation after signing the contract, this must be notified by registered letter. The deposit will be systematically retained. We also reserve the right to request payment for the entire stay in the event of cancellation received within 48 hours before arrival. Any shortened stay will be due in full. In the event of a no-show by the Customer, no refund will be made.

For the Christmas period (last weekend from November to January 3): In the event of cancellation by the customer more than 1 month before the arrival date, the amount of the deposit remains with the owner, less than 1 month before the arrival date. Upon arrival, the balance of the stay is due and remains with the owner for whatever reason.

5-MISCELLANEOUS

A minimum of 2 nights is required for all reservations, we reserve the right to request 3 nights during high season periods or certain long weekends, you will be able to view our availability in real time on the “availability and online reservations” page. ”.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE – Gîtes de France

Article 1

This contract is intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in guest rooms approved by the territorially competent departmental or interdepartmental branch in the name of the Fédération Nationale des Gîtes de France.
Under no circumstances can the Fédération Nationale des Gîtes de France be held liable in the event of use of its contracts by third parties or for non-tourist purposes. The best welcome will be reserved for guests. The owner undertakes to personally welcome them with all the necessary attention to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.

Article 2

duration of stay: The customer who has signed this contract concluded for a specific period cannot under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.

Section 3

conclusion of the contract: The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 25% of the total price of the stay with a minimum of one night per room booked and a copy of the contract signed before the date indicated at the Recto part. The second copy of the contract is to be kept by the customer. Prices are inclusive of all charges according to the description sheet, excluding tourist tax.

 

Article 4

absence of withdrawal: For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to the provision of services accommodation provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.

Section 5

cancellation by the customer: Any cancellation must be notified by letter or fax addressed to the owner.
a) Cancellation before the start of the stay: if the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner. If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner who will also request payment of the balance of the price of the stay.
b) If the customer does not show up before 7 p.m. on the scheduled start day of the stay, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his guest rooms. The deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of the stay.
c) In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay remains fully acquired by the owner. Additional services not consumed will be reimbursed.

Article 6

cancellation by the owner: When, before the start of the stay, the owner cancels this stay, he must inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The customer, without prejudging any recourse for compensation for any damage suffered, will be reimbursed immediately for the sums paid. He will also receive compensation at least
equal to the penalty that he would have incurred if the cancellation had occurred on his behalf on that date.

 

Article 7

arrival: The customer must arrive on the specified day and at the times mentioned in this contract. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the customer must notify the owner.

Article 8

payment of the balance: The balance must be paid on arrival at the owner. Consumption and additional services not mentioned in this contract will be payable to the owner at the end of the stay.

Section 9

tourist tax: The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner who then pays it to the Public Treasury.

Section 10

use of the premises: The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. He undertakes to return the rooms in good condition.

Article 11

capacity: This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owner is able to refuse additional customers. This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.

Section 12

animals: This contract specifies whether or not the customer can stay in the company of a domestic animal. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the client, the owner may refuse the animals.
This refusal can in no case be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the customer’s departure, no reimbursement can be considered.

Section 13

disputes: Any complaint relating to the inventory of fixtures must be submitted to the departmental or interdepartmental branch of Gîtes de France within three days following the start date of the stay.
Any other complaint relating to a stay must be sent by letter, as soon as possible to the departmental branch of Gîtes de France, competent to make a proposal in favor of an amicable agreement. These provisions do not prejudge possible legal actions brought by the customer or the owner.
